I grew up exploring these woods. They are beautiful and full of wildlife. Camping here is one of my favorite memories.
When you want to stop for a few moments and get away from the hustle and bustle of real life this is a place to go very quiet I seen about 5 people for dogs and just to sit and off at all it makes life worth living anyway I'm planning on visiting there real soon with the Motorcoach that I purchased a couple of months ago and got out so far we've been see boys with it is time to take it to the woods and enjoy the real nature of what the colonies for and this is a perfect time of the year to see through words and on your way to grandmother house if you can say that anymore but it is a place where you can truly Get Back To Nature and get back to God
Beautiful place to ride ATV/SXS but has a 50inch width limit that ended my trip. Place around coral camp was empty. No doubt because of the width restriction.
Outstanding campsites, views and seclusion. But totally perplexed why there are no circular walking trails. Loved camping at Rag Town for three nights, and would have been very happy staying at Indian Mounds if there had been time.
It's pretty peaceful, but mostly pine forests. I do give it four stars if you're into off roading. Hundreds of miles of trails for ATVs and dirtbikes, with some decent intermediate sections. Just three stars for hiking and camping tho.
